Japanese thin and warn cotton, patched together with repairs using scrap materials. This piece has many holes, some repaired by the maker and some left. Beautiful patterns and textures by a maker who clearly cared deeply about the piece and its longevity. Very fragile but would make a beautiful wall hanging.
