Vintage Pakistani rilka ralli quilt from the Sindh. Rilka meaning baby quilt. These square pieces were often used to practice stitching before making larger ralli quilts. Once made they were often turned into envelope bags by folding the corners into the centre and stitching them closed. Traditional multicolour running stitch through out.
