Mosquito nets called Kaya are insect-repellent nets that were used all over Japan since ancient times. This dark green color is dyed by mixing turmeric, indigo, persimmon and tannin. Several places have been repaired by beautiful Sashiko stitching with some other ramie fabrics and hemp threads. Some holes and bore patches due to age.

This mosquito net has 4 walls and a flat ceiling with hooks that can hold the structure up. Traditional red cotton has been attached.For more information please get in touch.
