Yo-yo quilts, also known as Suffolk puff quilts, gained popularity in the United States during the 1920s and 1930s as a way to use fabric scraps. The individual fabric circles, or "yo-yos," are hand-stitched and gathered before being sewn together at their edges to create the finished piece. Some circles/samples have come undone but can be easily fixed. Plain cream back, some holes. Samples of fabric range from the 1920’s to the 1970’s.
